What this app is not, and when to speak to a person instead.
Not medical or dietetic advice
PWR BALLS® provides general nutrition information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a doctor, an Accredited Practising Dietitian or another qualified health professional.
Individual requirements vary with age, body size, activity, training, medical conditions and medication. Targets the app calculates are a starting point for a conversation, not a prescription.
Speak to a professional before relying on it if you
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- have kidney, liver, heart or metabolic conditions
- are managing diabetes or taking medication that interacts with diet
- have a history of disordered eating
- are under 18, or advising someone who is
Hydration targets
The water target is a general estimate from body weight and activity. It is not a medical prescription. Fluid needs vary with climate, exercise, diet and health conditions, and people with kidney, heart or fluid-management conditions should follow the advice of their healthcare professional.
Medications and supplements
The medication tracker records what you tell it. It does not check for interactions or contraindications, does not suggest doses, and never requests, renews or alters a prescription. It has no clinically validated medicines database behind it, and a partial warning would be worse than none.
